About Living Lordswood

Living Lordswood evolved out of a small group of people who were looking for a better way of living. Initially the focus was on caring for creation – with litter picks and nature walks being the main activity – but over the years we have experimented with other ideas to help make life greener, healthier, more loving and a lot more fun!

The Lordswood estate is in the north of Southampton and backs onto some fantastic woods. We are privileged to live in such a beautiful part of the world and want to enjoy life to the full whilst ensuring that we leave the neighbourhood in great shape for the next generation.

Over the years Living Lordswood has developed and you can get involved in activities such as local clean-ups, nature walks, bulb planting, environmental projects and a community choir.

Behind all this is a little band of people who are exploring what it might mean to take Jesus life and teaching seriously and put it into practice.
